1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Loots ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
Loots is a financial management tool that helps users analyse their spending, identify subscriptions, and manage their finances. We offer both free and paid subscription plans.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features of Loots, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
4. Bank Connections
Paid plans allow you to connect your bank accounts via Akahu, our third-party open banking provider. By connecting your accounts, you authorise us to access your transaction data through Akahu. We only have read-only access and cannot move money or make transactions on your behalf.
5. Subscription and Payments
Free Plan: Available at no cost with limited features including CSV upload.
Paid Plans: Plus ($7.99/month), Premium ($12.99/month), and Unlimited ($19.99/month) plans are billed monthly or annually. Prices are in NZD and include GST where applicable.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of Loots is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take data security seriously and will never sell your personal or financial information to third parties.
7. Limitations of Liability
Loots is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that our analysis or recommendations are error-free. You are responsible for verifying any financial decisions before acting on them.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the application. Continued use of Loots after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
